On September 9, 2022, the Colorado Springs Police Department initiated an investigation into a Sexual Assault that occurred behind a business in the 900 Block of N. Circle Drive. The investigation revealed that a male suspect approached the victim who was walking in the area. The suspect sexually assaulted the victim behind a business and then ran from the area. The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male, approximately 30 years of age. The subject is 5’7 to 5’8” tall with a thin/muscular build and short stubbly hair on top of his head. The included sketch of the suspect has been developed to aid in identifying the person.
