During tonight’s eleventh annual Mayor’s Young Leader Awards, Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade recognized seven individuals for making extraordinary efforts in their field while having a positive impact in the Colorado Springs community.
“I am proud and inspired by the excellence displayed by each of the award winners,” said Mayor Yemi. “These winners join an impressive cast of dynamic young leaders who have gone on to build meaningful careers, inspire, others, and create lasting change in Colorado Springs and beyond. Their ideas, energy, and commitment to the Colorado Springs community is helping build a safe, economically prosperous, culturally rich, welcoming and vibrant city on a hill that shines brightly.”
The award ceremony was launched in 2015 to celebrate the outstanding achievements of young professionals age 40 and under. The 2024 winners were selected from 35 finalists in seven categories.

- Creative Industry: Preston Goff | The Exodus Road
- Community Impact: Kimberly Gold | Colorado Springs Black Chamber of Commerce
