Mayor Yemi Mobolade is seeking applicants to fill four seats on the Development Review Enterprise Advisory Committee (DREAC).
The Development Review Enterprise (DRE) is a division of the City’s Planning Department that reviews applications and permits that pertain to the building permit process within Colorado Springs. The DREAC advises the Mayor, Fire Department, and Planning Department on matters related to business operations, service delivery, and fee structure for the DRE.
Three of the open seats must be filled by applicants who are in the field of architecture, general contracting, building trades, signage, urban design, and engineering. One of the open positions is open to the public at large.
Initial members shall serve a term of two or three years. Future members will serve 3-year terms.
Applicants are due by November 6. Resident can apply to the board at ColoradoSprings.gov/DREAC.
