Mountain Metro Bus Service Reductions

Bus Capacity: All Mountain Metro buses are at full capacity.

Mask Policy: All bus patrons two years of age and older are required to wear a mask. The Mountain Metro mask policy is in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Order for public transportation conveyances and transportation hubs issued in February, 2021.

Due to driver shortage, Mountain Metro will run on reduced level service until further notice.

Weekday Service Reductions:

Driver exposure to Covid-19 and quarantine measures, necessitate the following service adjustments,

Regular Saturday level service will be implemented Monday to Friday with the following exceptions:

  1. Route 40 will run on its weekday schedule
  2. Route 2 will go to 30-min frequency

The following routes will not be running: Routes 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 35, 38.

During this period of adjustment, Google Maps may not reflect the most current schedules, please contact 385-RIDE for last minute changes.

MetroMobility service will not be impacted by these adjustments.  

Saturday Service Reductions:

Cancelled Routes: 6, 8, 12, and 34

  • Route 1 frequency has been reduced from 30 to 60 minutes. Route 1 buses depart the terminal at 15 minutes after the hour and depart the Academy/Astrozon stop at 37 minutes after the hour.
  • Route 3 frequency has been reduced from 30 to 60 minutes. Route 3 buses depart the terminal at 15 minutes after the hour and depart Old Man’s Trail stop at 42 minutes after the hour.
  • Route 5 frequency has been reduced from 30 to 60 minutes. Route 5 buses depart the terminal at 15 minutes after the hour and depart the Citadel Transfer Center at 50 minutes after the hour.
  • Route 7 frequency has been reduced from 30 to 60 minutes. Route 7 buses depart the terminal at 15 minutes after the hour and depart the Citadel Transfer Center at 45 minutes after the hour.
  • Route 25 frequency has been reduced from 30 to 60 minutes. Route 25 buses depart the Citadel Transfer Center at 40 minutes after the hour and depart the Voyager Transfer Center at 13 minutes after the hour.
  • Route 27 frequency has been reduced from 30 to 60 minutes. Route 27 buses depart the Citadel Transfer Center at 47 minutes after the hour and depart PPCC at 14 minutes after the hour.
  • Route 37 weekend service will run continuously throughout the day but will end service earlier with the 5:57 p.m. inbound trip.

Sunday Service Reductions:

  • Route 1: Frequency reduced from 30 minutes to 60 minutes. Route 1 buses departing the terminal 45 minutes after the hour (:45) will not operate.
  • Route 5: Frequency reduced from 30 minutes to 60 minutes. Route 5 buses departing the terminal 45 minutes after the hour (:45) will not operate.
  • Route 25: Frequency reduced from 30 minutes to 60 minutes. Northbound Route 25 bus will not depart the Citadel 8 minutes (:08) after the hour. The southbound Route 25 bus will not depart Voyager 44 minutes after the hour (:44).
  • Route 27: will be reduced to 60-minute frequency. Route 27 departing the Citadel at 18 minutes after the hour (:18) will not operate. Route 27 departing PPCC at 44 minutes (:44) after the hour will not operate.
  • Route 37 weekend service will run continuously throughout the day but will end service earlier with the 5:57 p.m. inbound trip.
