The Colorado Springs Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect involved in an attempted robbery.  On April 2, 2015, at approximately 7:53 PM a white male suspect pulled a knife, placing it to the victim’s throat and demanded money from the victim, a Yellow Taxi Cab driver. 

The suspect is described as a white male, in his mid 20’s, 5’10” tall and weighing 150 pounds.  The suspect was wearing a blue/grey and white flannel style jacket with a pink beanie cap, blue jeans and black shoes.

Colorado Springs Police Department would like to thank the media and members of the community for their assistance in identifying the person of interest in this investigation.  At approximately 01:30 AM on March 18th, 27 year old Felipe DeHerrera from Colorado Springs turned himself into police after seeing himself on the news.  Mr. DeHerrera has been booked into the Criminal Justice Center for Felony Assault.

The Colorado Springs Police Department Violent Crimes Section is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the male in these pictures.  This subject is a person of interest in a felony assault which occurred at the Finish Line Lounge, 1800 East Monument Street during the month of February 2015.  If anyone has information that could assist with identifying this subject please contact the police department at (719) 444-7000 or you may call Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers, Inc. at (719) 634-STOP (7867); you do nothave to give your name and could earn a cash reward.
