On February 14, 2022, the City of Colorado Springs Community Development Division (CDD) will open the CDBG Public Facilities and Infrastructure application. The Division anticipates approximately $1 million of federal HUD funds available for eligible projects that serve low-income communities. The minimum grant request is $250,000.

Non-profit organizations, faith-based organizations, and public agencies are invited to apply, provided they meet federal eligibility requirements.

Read the Notice of Funding Availability

Applicants must register online with Neighborly software to prepare and apply. For more information, please go directly to the application or go to the Division website at ColoradoSprings.gov/communitydevelopment. Complete applications are due no later than 11:59 p.m. MST on March 14, 2022.

There is no limit to the number of applications an agency may submit, but each request for funding must be submitted as its own application. Applications selected for funding may receive less than the requested amount, depending on the number of applications received and the available funding. By applying, funding is not guaranteed to any agency or project.

CDD staff will host a virtual information session for a program overview, technical assistance, and answer any questions. Please review the 2022 Public Facilities Applicant Guide. We recommend at least one representative from each applicant organization attend the presentation.
