Tours of historic City Hall are available upon request for school groups and non-profit organizations. Tours last approximately 30 minutes, and can be customized to the learning interests and needs of the group. Please contact Allcouncil@coloradosprings.gov to schedule a tour.
City Council welcomes the opportunity to recognize exceptional events within the City of Colorado Springs. A request for a proclamation must be made at least one month prior to the date requested. The majority of proclamations are issued for presentation by groups at community events. On occasion, City Council may choose to present a proclamation at a Regular Meeting of City Council.
The goal of the Civic Engagement Program is to give citizens the opportunity to educate themselves on the structure and policy issues of the City by shadowing and potentially serving on Boards, Commissions, and Committees.
